Realty Cafe ("we", "us") is operated by Realevo Datatek Private Limited, 1st Floor, No. 3788, 13th Cross, Banashankari 2nd Stage, Beside Muthoot Finance, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560070. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use realtycafe.in and the Realty Cafe app, why, and your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other Indian law.

What we collect

• Account data: your mobile number (used to log in by OTP), name, agency, city, areas you work in, the kinds of deals you do, your RERA number if you add it, and your profile photo if you add one.
• Listings you post: property details, photos and videos, location, and the owner's name and phone number you enter.
• Activity: connect requests, tie-ups, credits and their history, reports you make, and notifications.
• Technical data: device and browser type, and error logs needed to keep the service working.

Photos are re-encoded on your device before upload, which removes location data embedded in them.

Why we use it

• To run the service: log you in, show your listings, connect you with other agents and track tie-ups.
• To keep it safe: verify RERA numbers, screen photos for inappropriate content, and act on reports.
• To support you and to tell you about activity on your account.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not show third-party advertising.

Who can see what

• Other agents see your public profile (name, agency, photo, city, areas, verified status) and your listings' public details (locality, rounded map area, price, features, photos).
• A listing's exact location, flat or unit number and owner contact are shown only to you and to agents whose connect request you accept.
• When a tie-up is accepted, the two agents can see each other's mobile number.

Service providers

We use Google Cloud and Firebase (hosting, database, login, file storage, image safety screening) and Google Maps (place search). When paid features launch, payments will be processed by Razorpay. These providers process data only to provide their service to us.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, credits and notifications and take down your live listings. Some records (for example, payment records required by tax law) are kept for the period the law requires.

Your rights

You can access and correct your data in the app (Profile and Edit profile), withdraw consent, and ask us to delete your account by writing to support@realtycafe.in. You can also contact our Grievance Officer below. We respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and stored on Google Cloud in India (Mumbai). Access to private listing details is enforced on our servers, not just in the app.
